According to the nature of the mutual funds, the use of an appropriate method for evaluating the PERFORMANCE of such funds always has been one of the most important issues in the field of investments PERFORMANCE evaluation. So, different CRITERIA have already been introduced by researchers to evaluate the funds PERFORMANCE.The present paper examines the efficiency of the POSTMODERN PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS CRITERIA compared with modern CRITERIA based on data of the active mutual funds in Tehran Stock Exchange for the period of 6 years from April 2009 to March 2015. In this paper, Upside Potential Ratio, Sortino Ratio and Omega measure as POSTMODERN CRITERIA and Sharp Return, Treynor Ratio, and Jensen Differential Return Measure as Modern PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS CRITERIA have been used. Results of the study show that there is a significant different between POSTMODERN and Modern PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS CRITERIA for Mutual Fund in Tehran Stock Exchange.

Distance-based clustering methods categorize samples by optimizing a global criterion, finding ellipsoid clusters with roughly equal sizes. In contrast, density-based clustering techniques form clusters with arbitrary shapes and sizes by optimizing a local criterion. Most of these methods have several hyper-parameters, and their PERFORMANCE is highly dependent on the hyper-parameter setup. Recently, a Gaussian Density Distance (GDD) approach was proposed to optimize local CRITERIA in terms of distance and density properties of samples. GDD can find clusters with different shapes and sizes without any free parameters. However, it may fail to discover the appropriate clusters due to the interfering of clustered samples in estimating the density and distance properties of remaining unclustered samples. Here, we introduce Adaptive GDD (AGDD), which eliminates the inappropriate effect of clustered samples by adaptively updating the parameters during clustering. It is stable and can identify clusters with various shapes, sizes, and densities without adding extra parameters. The distance metrics calculating the dissimilarity between samples can affect the clustering PERFORMANCE. The effect of different distance MEASUREMENTS is also analyzed on the method. The experimental results conducted on several well-known datasets show the effectiveness of the proposed AGDD method compared to the other well-known clustering methods.

Progressive collapse studies generally assess the PERFORMANCE of the structure under gravity and blast loads, while earthquakes may also lead to the progressive collapse of a damaged structure. In this study, the progressive collapse response of concentrically braced dual systems with steel moment-resisting frames was assessed under seismic loads through pushover analysis using triangular and uniform lateral load patterns. Two different bracing types (X and inverted V braces) were considered, and their PERFORMANCEs were compared under different lateral load patterns using the nonlinear static alternate path method recommended in the Unified Facilities CRITERIA (UFC) guideline. Eventually, the seismic progressive collapse resistance of models was compared to their progressive collapse response under gravity loads. These studies showed that models under the seismic progressive collapse loads satisfied UFC acceptance CRITERIA and limited rehabilitation objective. The structures had better PERFORMANCE under seismic progressive collapse than models under gravity loads because of more resistance, ductility, suitable load redistribution, and more structural elements that participated in load redistribution. Furthermore, despite studies on progressive collapse under gravity loads, the dual system with X braces showed better progressive collapse PERFORMANCE (more resistance, residual reserve strength ratio and ductility) under seismic loads than the model with inverted V braces.

Despite many thinkers have written about POSTMODERN ethics, a determinate answer to the question "what is the ethics of POSTMODERN?" is not found. POSTMODERN approaches to ethics are as vague as and as complex as POSTMODERNism, itself. None of ethical normative theories have been supported by POSTMODERNists, except Aristotle's theory. POSTMODERN ethics is based on, the ambiguity of human identity, the collapse of moral authority, incredulity toward traditional meta-narrative, lack of a universal standard and irrationality of moral phenomena, the characteristics which ultimately identify POSTMODERN ethics as the ethics of responsibility. Describing moral current realities in post modernity, the present essay, explains the ethics of responsibility. In this paper, I have focused more on Bauman's and Levinas's opinions.

One of the most important applications of geotextiles is as drainage and filtration adjacent soil in civil engineering projects. The using of this material has several benefits such as such as permeability and filtration that effect of these benefits, theoretical or experimental, have been evaluated by researchers. One of the important issues is the effect of contact pressure on permeability of geotextile-soil systems which has been less investigated. In this paper, the impact of overhead pressure on permeability of the soil in the vicinity of nonwoven geotextiles in a drainage system has been investigated by experimental tests. For this purpose, a special measuring cell was designed and built in soil and geotextile system which the hydraulic properties were evaluated in variation of pressure. The results showed that the variation of system permeability is non-linear in variation of overhead pressure. Also the thickness of geotextile has important effect on the permeability in a soil-geotextile system.

Stock return is an important measurement in financial decision making. The main goal of this paper is to survey the relationship between Stock return and Economic Value Added (EVA), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), Earnings per Share (EPS), Cash from Operations (CFO), Financial Leverage (FL), and Percentage of Dividend Payout (DPS) in Tehran Stock Exchange. Therefore 51 firms of statistical society that their necessary information for a five years period was available are selected. Then information about 7 independent variables is studied and SRE was measured as the dependent variable.Simple regression technique was used to examine the hypotheses. We used panel data and cross sectional regressions to examine the hypotheses. The significance of the models was tested according to T-test and F-test. The conclusions indicate that there are some significant and approximately stable between annual stock return and some internal PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS such as ROE, ROA and EPS in the sample period.

The expansion of police forces missions in the country wide, the significance of diversity, quality and quantity of discoveries and the occurrences of different crimes and regarding the geographical, cultural, economical and other influential factors which have critical role in determination of the significance and the weight of crimes and consequently the social security CRITERIA and PERFORMANCE appraisal of each province and city indicate the necessity of analyzing the influential level of these factors in province and geographical domains. In this research the influential factors such as demography, expansion, unemployment rates, inflation rates, number of personnel and police car equipments in addition to crimes significance rates and issues related to social security (Iran police mission department classification) have been reviewed using the province experts views in separation and it has been taken in to account as the set of influential factors in social security CRITERIA. Finally Tehran province social security CRITERIA is extracted using regional significance coefficient in separation of province and crime type.

POSTMODERNism is a very ambiguous term. It attracted many researchers from different fields of knowledge in the late 1960s. This article explains intertextuality as a critical means to derive its concepts and components in order to understand the hidden layers of meaning in POSTMODERN pluralist ideology. Variable thoughts of POSTMODERN architecture have been divided into two categories— Historicist and Deconstruction— to be able to detect and classify the inner layers of meaning in POSTMODERN architecture. The authors seek to answer these questions: 1. How can we achieve the intertextual relationship between Historicist POSTMODERN architecture and Deconstruction? 2. How can we define Historicist POSTMODERN architecture and Deconstruction into the diachronic and synchronic axes? The results show that Historicist POSTMODERNism uses objective signifiers and moves only along the diachronic axis. This group only imitates the past and its elements have humor and irony in the works. Due to the lack of attention to the synchronic axis, some parts of intertextuality are missing. These include the uncertainty of meaning and multilayered texts, which are principles of intertextuality. Deconstruction moves in both the diachronic and synchronic axes and, unlike Historicist ones, multi-meaning, multi-valued, and multi-layered features are seen in the works. They use both previous and contemporary texts. The method of data analysis is based on causal comparison and the rational analysis of authors. This article is a logical reasoning research that uses reasoning to explain relationships and understand the components of a subjective system after gathering information and understanding the theory of intertextuality.
